When making the decision to undertake a gap year, there are many things to consider. How long do you want to go for? How much will it cost? What do you want to get out of it? If you feel that you’d like to make a real difference in a country, and you’re passionate about volunteering, then here are a few reasons why Lattitude could be for you:
We are one of the oldest “gap year” organisations, with nearly 40 years experience in sending young people on placements overseas.
As a non-profit organisation we aim to keep the costs involved as low as possible without compromising on the quality and safety of your experience.
We provide an extensive global support network, both in the country where you’re volunteering as well as a 24h emergency phone line.
We organise all the nuts and bolts of your trip, including flights, insurance, visas, and any training or orientation required.
Our placements include food and accommodation and, in some cases, a small amount of weekly pocket money.
We offer choice, with placements available in many different countries lasting between 3 and 12 months.
