"My placement is at a junior co-ed boarding school in a small town called Brackley, which is only an hour and a bit away from the amazing city of London! Some of the duties I do at the school include watching out for the kids during break times, taking games (PE) sessions with the girls and working with the younger boys in the boarding house, which has give me much insight into the ways of boarding and the shock that kids can have living away from home at such a young age. The experience has been great fun and the school is so pretty and very English!
My time here has been remarkable and is something that I will never forget, the best part is during the holidays and my weekends off I have been able to travel to places such as London, Salisbury, Exeter, Oxford and even the French Alps for an incredible ski holiday over Easter. As well as all that I have also been able to see the iconic land marks of the United Kingdom including Stonehenge, London Bridge, the Tower of London, the London Eye, Big Ben, River Thames, museums, art galleries and so much more! I have been able to travel around and experience the great British culture and have met some wonderful people who will be lifetime friends. Within the summer months I shall travel Europe on Contiki and get to see so much more.
